Lakeridge Varsity Game Day Competition Team
Coached by Christine Langley & Lily Andrews

  • Selection for our Game Day Team takes place in mid-August.
  • All current Varsity Sideline Team members may opt to be evaluated for a spot on the Game Day Competition Team.
  • Skills to be evaluated are: exceptional motion and dance technique, ability to learn material quickly, and a strong
    performance quality.
  • Game Day Team will have 2-3 additional hours of practice per week after school on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • At minimum, members must cheer at games during the fall season.
  • Choreography will take place August 21st & 22nd, 2026.
  • Team will compete at local and national events.
  • Not all athletes will make a competitive team, although an athlete may be chosen for both competition teams.
  • Participating on competition team(s) will cost an additional $900 for trip to NCA Nationals.  All other fees will be
    ​covered by fundraising.

Registration will be open Monday, May 4th - Monday, May 18th, 2026!
